Hamilton boys win golf invitational

The Class A high school golf season is just about over. This week, Hamilton will host the Western A divisional and the Hamilton boys will try to defend their title. Hamilton won their own Invitational in the eight-team field. Bryce Reed of Hamilton shot a 76 to tie for first. Carson McDaniel of Polson also shot a 76. Hamilton’s Zach Taylor shot a 77, followed by Cannon Hawkes at 79, Tristan Hanson with 80, Matt Hobbs of Polson with an 80, Zel Frost of Stevensville with 82, Kobe Jessop of Corvallis with 83, Derek Wolff of Frenchtown with 84 and Trey Kelley of Polson with 85.

 

Frenchtown won the girls team title. They were followed by Polson, Browning, Hamilton and Corvallis. Keelee Storrud of Corvallis shot a 104 to finish fifth. Kelci Martin of Martin finished tenth.
