Hamilton – Joshua L. Hufschmied, 33, has returned home again after a brief sojourn of 33 years and 7 months. Born in Hamilton on April 24, 1980, Josh will be missed by the very young and the elderly, he loved young children and old timers alike and was ministering to them when he passed. Multi-talented, his excellent memory enabled him to excel in graphic arts, especially depicting firearms and medieval weapons. He also enjoyed crafting whips, designing and making jewelry and cooking, having worked for restaurants in the valley. His performances as “Elvis” are well known and remembered throughout the valley and beyond. He was always quick to lend a hand to the young, the weak, the old and the down and out, sometimes to his own hurt. In His light, shall we always remember our beloved son and in time, see him again.
Josh is survived by his parents, Raul and Linda Hufschmied of Stevensville; sister, Maria (Donny) Shane of Boulder City, NV; nephew and niece, Devlin and Ireland Shane; aunt Muriel (Gordon) Steger of Victor; aunt Lacey (John) Snell of Corvallis; uncle Gary Vetsch, great-uncle and aunt, Delbert and Gerda Thompson of Victor; aunt Janel Sebastain of Toutle, WA; cousins, Nathan and Clint Weis, Aaron Wesley, Julie Boster and Vicki Cross.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Vetsch, great-aunt, Barbara Burley, uncle, Steve Sebastian and his adopted grandfather, Earl Wolfe.
Arrangements are under the care of Whitesitt Funeral Home.
His beautiful green eyes and infectious whit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
