Thanks from St. Mary’s Mission

Western Heritage Day provided a fantastic event for Historic St. Mary’s Mission. We wish to thank the Stevensville Main Street Association and Joan Prather for bringing the Salish Drummers and Dancers to perform at St. Mary’s Mission. The cultural event drew many people, some of whom enjoyed a guided tour, and others who just appreciated the beauty of the site.

Cow Pie Bingo was a big success in raising funds to support the preservation and restoration of the historic buildings. Thank you to all who bought tickets. Congratulations to Judy Burke of Stevensville who purchased the winning square.

Again we express our sincere appreciation to the Stevensville Main Street Association for helping create more awareness of the rich history of our town and the homeland of the Bitter Root Salish Indians.

and Historic St. Mary’s Mission Board of Directors
