Genesis House intends to demolish an existing garage and reconstruct a new garage at their location on 116 College Street. Stevensville development code 16.40.010 requires a rear yard setback of 20 feet.  They are requesting this variance to allow construction of the new building with a three (3’) setback inasmuch as lot and building locations preclude meeting the code requirements.

Ravalli County Tax Appeal Board Schedule
The Ravalli County Tax Appeal Board will be in session from July 1 through December 31, 2013, for the business of hearing appeals.  Any taxpayer who disagrees with the appraised value of his or her property may file an appeal with the Ravalli County Tax Appeal Board on or before the first Monday in June or within 30 days of receipt of a Notice of Classification and Appraisal, or Notice to Change Valuation (assessment notice), whichever is later.  It is possible that not all taxpayers will receive an assessment notice.  If you have not received a notice of classification and appraisal, consider the first Monday in June as the deadline to file an appeal.  Appeal forms are available from the Clerk and Recorder, 215 South 4th Street, Hamilton, Montana.

The Ravalli County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will conduct a public meeting to receive citizen comment on AP Block 8, Parcel A, Summerdale Orchards, a proposed 2-lot minor subdivision on 12.87 acres, accessed via Coal Pit Road near Corvallis.  The property is located in the NW ¼ of Section 1, and the NE ¼ of Section 2, T6N, R20W, P.M.M., Ravalli County, Montana.  The applicant is Nancy Kelly.

Ravalli County Weed Control Work for weeds along highways

Ravalli County is soliciting bid requests for the application of herbicides along Highway 93 and Woodside Cutoff road. Sealed bids must include a commercial applicator’s license, proof of insurance, list of equipment and the amount necessary to provide all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals needed to perform the specified work.
