As usual the entries in the 7th Annual Stevensville Scarecrow Festival were outstanding. The festival featured 25 sculptures in the theme of scarecrows, crows, fall, etc. and five Living Statues.
Coordinator Gary Knapp said over 900 ballots were
cast this year for the People’s Choice category. Prizes were awarded in the categories of “Peoples’ Choice,” based on the popular vote of the public, “Artistic Merit,” based on the opinion of a panel of three artists, and “Living Statues,” based on the opinion of three citizens.
This year’s winners are:
First Place: Lone Rock Girl Scouts “Don’t Text and Fly”
Second Place: Sapphire Animal Hospital “Not Today”
Third Place: Discovery Care Center “Faster, Freddy, Faster !”
Tobacco Free Ravalli “Corporate Tobacco Chris”

First Place: David Anderson “The Lounge Singer”
Second Place: Maria Cole “Pioneer Sunday Best”
Third Place: Nancy Slabaugh-Hart “Wuuvwee Wanda”
